Where and when?
Our Sunday service starts at 11am and takes place in the main hall at the front of the church building. The address is 16 Kings Road, Chingford, London E4 7EY.
What to expect
Sunday mornings are a time when we gather together to worship God. This includes singing a mixture of traditional and more modern songs, prayer and a talk (or sermon) which explains a passage of the bible and what it means for us today. The main emphasis of the service is on bible teaching, and we hope you will benefit greatly from this.
The service normally lasts about an hour in total. There’s no pressure to join in with any aspect of the service, just take your time and get used to it. So if you’re more comfortable just sitting quietly at the back observing, that’s ok too. You’re also welcome to join us for some refreshments afterwards if you like. This is a good opportunity to ask questions if you have them.
Can anybody come?
Yes! You don’t need to be a church member to come to a service. No matter who you are, what background you come from, what religious affiliation you may have, or your life circumstances, you’re welcome to attend! You’ll find all kinds of people present, from the interested observer to the committed follower of Jesus.
What do I wear?
There is no dress code, so come as you are!
I’m nervous about walking in by myself…
Don’t worry that’s quite normal! There will be someone on the door to greet you when you arrive. If you have any questions about the service they will be answered for you. All you need to do is come in and find a seat anywhere you like.
What if my children make a noise?
Feel free to bring them anyway, we’re more than able to cope with a few squeaks! However, we do have a suitable room you can take them to if you prefer, where you’ll still be able to hear what’s going on in the service via a speaker system.
Are there disabled facilities?
Yes. There is disabled and wheelchair access to the building and toilet facilities.
